Leah at Green Leaf Geek, based here in Canada, is hands down one of the finest dice makers and purveyors on the internet, with a dedication to creating a positive experience in the TTRPG space. Not only do they make amazing dice and dice sets like the Purryhedrals (cat’s claw sharp edges with a feline inclusion) but they also curate excellent items like their yearly ADVENTure Calendars, collaborating with other creators in the community.
Not one to rest on their considerable laurels, Green Leaf Geek is starting off the new year strong with the Backerkit campaign for Hidden Glow, beautiful sets of sharp-edged resin dice with special UV-light activated inclusions! Working with Geoff VanGemert at Long Dog Workshop, GLG has created six unique designs, three of which (Mushrooms, Jellyfish, and Fireball) will be available at the start of the campaign, with the remaining three (Skulls, Potion Bottles, and Crystals) unlockable as stretch goals. All sets will come in a matte black metal tin with the Green Leaf Geek logo on the lid.
The dice are gorgeous and every dice goblin or dragon worthy of the name will want a set (or two or six) for their collection. But dice aren’t the only things available in this campaign, and the extras are double-take worthy! What better place to roll your dice then a hexagonal wooden tray with UV-LEDs? Working with Naturally Nerdy, these trays will come with a variety of finishes, all lined with black felt and haloed with a UV-LED strip. The perfect environment for these one-of-a-kind dice! In addition there are stickers, a special campaign pin, numerous adventure PDFs to unlock, and a rechargeable UV pocket flashlight are all available as stretch goals, with many of the items available at an additional cost once the campaign ends.
Possibly the most exciting backer level, and the ideal way to break in your brand new Hidden Glow dice set, is A Seat at the Table! You not only get a set of dice and all unlocked stretch goals, along with a PDF copy on an adventure written just for this campaign, but you’ll get an online one-shot session with one of six amazing GMs: Jes the Human, Nala J Wu, Josh Simons, Stephen Garcia, Tanya DePass, or Camille Wolfewood! There are a limited number of pledges available at this level (if they aren’t already gone by the time you’re reading this) so get over there before its too late!
