Forges of Ravenshire (Kickstarter)

Before (or after) reading this CrowdFUNding Spotlight, why not head over and read Tony’s CrowdFUNding PREVIEW on the game itself?

Do you like dice? Do you like placing dice? Do you like placing & pulling dice? Do you like Mid-to-Light Weight Euro games? Do you like sushi? Wait, what?

Disregard that last bit. If you answered yes to the other questions, you’re in luck. A new game that has just funded on Kickstarter has exactly that (AND MORE).

In Forges of Ravenshire, you’re using your dice as workers to gain resources in order to fulfill contracts, compete for titles & earn the most gold to become the new forge master.

Take the placement mechanic of Raiders of the North Sea (place one/take one), combine that with the pip #/dice colour decisions of Coimbra & the resource gather/building of a game like Kingsburg & you have Forges of Ravenshire (keep in mind, this is just my opinion but hey, I listen to me so you should too).

Playing 1-4 at a timeframe of 50-100 minutes, you will have more fun than is probably legally allowed (but I won’t tell).

Pledge levels are as follows:

$1 – Worker

Join the campaign to get updates and gain access to the pledge manager.

$60 – Apprentice (Base Game)

Get 1 copy of Forges of Ravenshire with all stretch goals.

$99 – Journeyman (Game + Upgraded Resources)

For those who like clicks, clacks, and larger components for resources. The copy of Forges of Ravenshire comes with all stretch goals.

$225 – Master Smith (All-In)

For those with a need for great presentation without getting the custom and limited run items.
